Tell about 'National Tour' ? I'm in Portland. I just received a set of 15x7 Panasports, 4 on 108, with 225-45 Hoosiers - 6 years old but never used. I hope to give them a try on '86 900S 2-door w/ '88 turbo engine and axles, Intrax springs, Bilsteins. I am currently Auto-Xing a '76 99 EMS on 195-60 Yoko Intermediates - have tentative plans for a '76 99 w/ '89 axles and 16V NA. I checked w/ Jack Lawrence, he recommended a 205 tire on 6.5 rim over a 225 on 6.5 rim for the added stability of the tire. He feels that the stability of the tire beats wider tire, and I expect this is from extensive testing and experience. He also recommended up to 2 degrees camber and as much castor as you can handle.I'm working to round up a set of used 205 Hoosiers to mount on 6.5 rims. I wish the Pana/Hoosier combo would run on the EMS. I'm not running in a class due to the odd changes to my car that are not 'stock' - I run time only. What tire pressures are you running?
