My 1995 "Super CS" (cross between CS and CSE)suddenly lost readings on the temp and gas gauge. At the same time, the SRS light came on and stays on. Saab dealers 1 and 1/2 hour away from us in Boone, NC - either Kingsport, TN or Charlotte, NC(where I bought the car). My local mechanic - Assad Matar - has been able to fix anything that needed fixing unless problem requires special Saab diagnostics or tools which he does not have. He has traced the problem to quirky linkage of wiring between the SRS sytem and the gauges although I have no idea exactly what that means. I have an e-mail in to the Saab website to see if this is a problem that the company has covered for customers. I'm selling this car sometime soon and don't want to put a lot of money into it since I'm told I'll be lucky to get $6,000 out of it. Have any of you had similar
experiences and what did you do about it? Has the company helped with SRS glitches? I can still tell how much gas I have by using the "info" button. I still love the car and it is otherwise just as "zippy" as it was when I bought it, but my equipment is failing - hip problems are forcing me to consider automatic transmission.

Thanks for your help if you can give it.
