The center shaft bearing hub that bolts to the engine (to support passenger side of shaft) is different. ONe is stamped "A" and the manual is "M". One of the CV joint shafts is different length between auto and manual, I believe it was the driver side. I'm sure you have the flywheel and clutch, etc. I installed a '89 manual tranny into a 87 9000T.
