Fuel and the lack of it is one reason. This being in the form of the FPR or injectors. Second would be the wonderful IC that came with the 900. It gets 'heat soaked' very fast causing great spikes, and then droping off. Timing is another issue as well. Do you have the stock diaphram? If so it is either time to bend it to achieve more retard, buy the modified version from brad or get the btm. Check timing and make sure it is at 16 without these mods. Don't forget octane-go as high as you can. Get an IC fan as well. How about air filter? There are a number of other things as well to check like vacuum leaks-lean mixtures cause hot intake temps. The box you bought is considered a stage 2 I do believe. It is made to go along w\the above mods as well. The new box will get you boosting very high for a split second, but to achieve the addicting 21lbs of steady boost, you must pay.
