I'm perhaps 3 weeks away from installing my 9000 fmic onto my 82 900T. I've determined it will fit without removing any rows, but that the AC condensor will have to be moved back (toward the radiator) by almost 1/2 inch. There's maybe 3/4 to an inch play inbetween as it is. To do so will require redrilling the top mounting screw holes, maybe bending the connector brackets too, plus bending/repositioning the lower bracket connections. Also required will be some cutting of the headlamp to radiator housing bracket, plus removing (or just bending back) the front vertical lip of the radiator housing (or the AC condensor housing in this case). Then I'm going to custom fashion the end tanks out of fiberglass to fit so that the plumbing connections tie in just behind and to the inside of each headlamp housing. My plan is to build the new end tank molds first out of foam blocks and molding clay. Then a layer of high temp epoxy, followed by layers of fiberglass. Once that is hardened I will cut them in half lengthwise, scoop out the foam and clay, sand smooth and clean the interior surfaces, reattach the two halves with fiberglass and affix to the remaining two inches of the cut fmic plastic end tanks.
