ARP "studs are manufactured using a proprietary alloy developed by ARP (Stainless 300) rated at 170,000 psi tensile strength." Given their experience, I am not concerned that there will be any problems with these studs. At least, not any more that the standard studs which, as you know, have this bad tendancy to what to stay in the head (I hate that). The nut are then torqued to the standard rating (I think its 18NM, but don't quote me). Since I have been using these for awhile, I have not had any problems with them backing off. Even if they did loosen a little, they are not a problem to check given their location.
