...other than what was posted in the link to the threads given by LinkMaster. Besides a stronger pressure plate, which is needed for anything over 260 hp, I would also strongly recommend an upgraded intercooler and fuel injectors, as a safe prerequisite to 300 hp. Regardless of the software/tuning, the stock injectors simply can't deliver enough fuel for cooling at 300 hp. I've seen dyno charts of plenty of 300 hp 9000's and they all were running with stock injectors. However, it's good to look at other parameters besides hp and torque, like A/F. Any 300 hp engine with the stock injectors will have an A/F which is dangerously on the lean side. If you think you'll never find yourself in a situation where you wont be @ WOT for any length of time, then I guess it doessn't matter. The intercooler is also a wise consideration: every degree drop in intake temperature will yield about a degree drop in the exhaust temperature. It's your engine - as Dr. Boost and Clint have said: "Do you feel lucky?"
