Same Vibration, not a big deal (kinda long)

The reason you feel the vibration at that engine speed and not other ones has to do with physics or specifically resonant frequency. There are frequencies at which objects amplify certain frequencies more then others. Engine speed corresponds to frequency so the slower the engine speed the lower the frequency of the vibration, but the closer it is to the resonant frequency of the car. There is an equivalent effect with music where low frequency notes can be felt and high frequencies are not really because speaker boxes have a resonant frequency that is around that of the low notes. I feel the same vibration with an equivalent setup in my 94' 9k Aero. Once you get on the gas a little the vibration goes away because the frequency of the vibration goes up. The vibration is sometimes amplified by the AC, but I could care less. I love how the engine fells more responsive and the shifter feels more solid.
