Today I took out the advance diafragm in my SPG and bent the stop down about an 8th of an inch or so. Then I set the initial timing to about 19-20, and it is so much more responsive! As far as I can tell, I get no knock at about 13 psi, either. How come people said 20 degrees was too high to get any boost? Thanks.
On a side note, I noticed todat that when I rev my engine up to around 4-5K rpms, the APC solenoid clicks, much like when it detects knock , but this can't be since there's no boost or anything. Is this normal or is my knock sensor way too sensitive (i.e.:torqued down too hard.) Thanks again.
