I recently recieved and installed my powdercoated valve cover fron saab savior, Workmanship was o.k. but what I noticed/surprised me was a large amount of residue left over on the inside from the bead blasting process, up to 1/4' thick of sandy residue. I scraped and cleaned it out and installed, drove car. 2 hrs. later NO OIL PRESSURE,oil pressure relief valve was stuck. I called a well known saab enthusiast in Cali. and he said it wouldn't be the first time an engine was damaged because of residue left over in the valve cover, hidden behing that cover above the timing chain that goes to the breathe tube/port. Engines HAVE BEEN trashed because of this lack of attention to detail, my oil pressure is high and then low as if valve is sticking, not the same as it was yesterdayand hopefully my engine/bearings won't die over next few days. This may all be coincedence but i don't think so. Beware
