The spiralmax made a huge improvement on our BMW 328, especially
pushing the throttle down on the open highway, the car is
definitely more powerful in that sense; and not just my imagination.
My wife summed it up, (that it takes less pressure on the pedal to
go much faster). Fuel increased over 3 mpg. A fellow worker who is a stickler on fuel milage, gained 4 mpg on his Jetta. On the otherhand,
I really did not notice the power gain for my 9-5 Aero, although
MPG did increase to a steady avgerage of 2mpg.
Maybe there is more power there on my SAAB, but it is a little
harder to detect on the AERO. For increase on mpg I believe it
is beneficial, for h.p. it could be harder to detect on some cars,
and might not increase power at all. I had paid $65 or $69 for
mine.
