We have customers tell us that they do see a MPG increase after one of our APC installations. Our Erik P. modified APC's for the earlier Saab's keep the waste gate tightly shut until it's signaled to open just like a manual boost controller does. I believe that the waste gate actuator being a mechanical device doesn't have enough tension to keep the waste gate valve closed and still maintain boost at it's compressed rod length setting when it does open. Is the Joe P. MBC similar to the Dawes device that uses a brass in-line bleed valve? We use one of these to bleed to atmosphere to set the overall retard limit on MSD's BTM and have a neat aluminum bracket just for Saab 16 valve engines. Anyway thanks for posting your MBC results, we may offer an in-line version with our bracket for those who modify their own APC's on their early Saab's. Dave
