Hey everyone,
Just got my car back from the shop. I put it in for a general look-over and tune-up, but also because there was a slight clunking sound coming from the front left tire. I figured it was the suspension, or a ball joint.

Anyways, I don't have the receipt in front of me, so I can't say for sure what exactly they did...But - its handling SO much better now. The steering is much, MUCH tighter, and it corners much better than it was before.

Before I brought it in, I was looking to put a performance suspension in, and a few other mods that would enhance the handling. Now that I can feel how the car is really meant to be, I think I'm going to be greedy and go ahead with the upgrades to get the most out of it.

I've been looking around, and found the VRK (Viggen Rescue Kit), from Abbott Racing. It seems to have a nice array of upgrades, with the exception of the suspension itself... I've also checked into Koni's dampers, and the Eibach springs / suspension kits that are available...But, they all look so appealing.

First off, I have no idea which is the better choice. I know I'd like to put a sway bar in, but which kind? SAS? What kind of suspension kit? If not a kit, what individual parts? Springs? Dampers? Etc?

Secondly, is it less expensive to buy the individual parts that are included in the VRK elsewhere? (Bear in mind that I'm from the US, and I'm not sure if shipping will be on my side. I’m aware that they have a US-Division, but their website seems to be under construction, so I’m a bit hesitant.)

Lastly, is it possible to install these upgrades on my own? Or will I have to bring it into the shop again? I love working on cars, however I'm nowhere near as experienced as the mechanics. If I can install them by myself, any tips? I’ve read that while installing sway bars the car shouldn’t be jacked up – the tires should have contact with the ground. True?… Little things like that, any tip would be great!

What are your takes on these mods? Any prefrences? Brands? Tell me everything you can! ;D

Thanks so much, everyone.
