Yes. Comparing runs the same day is ok, as long as the afternoon heat did not go up much compared to the earlier runs.
The numbers always underate dynos. Why? Because on a higway run, you are going to have a huge blast of air through the IC. On a stationary dyno, there may be some fans, but these are not very effective at IC cooling. A water injection turbo setup would have quite a dyno advantage over other setups. Opening the hood helps the fans at a dyno station work a bit better. If one has a snap out grill, good to remove that too.
And having to get into 3rd gear for the run to get full torque can hurt on the big heavy roller dyno's as the run takes a long time, which gets the IC completely heat soaked by the time you get to peak HP. So peak HP is less than what it could be. A water dyno might let the RPMs climb faster which might avoid some heat soaking of the IC.
To get the best peak HP readings, one could cruise up to a higher RPM point then go WOT from there. Then the IC would not be as heat soaked.
