Omar,
Your stock T-3 turbo has a compressor wheel with 45 degrees of trim. The turbine wheel has Garrett's stock trim and uses a .48 a/r ratio turbine wheel housing. I would ask you, why would you want to use a turbo from an Eclipse? If you are serious about upgrading, I would go for a T3-T4 hybrid turbocharger. It will be a direct bolt in fit and depending on the compressor wheel you select, it will provide enough CFM to meet whatever your power needs or desires are. If you already haven't, check out turbonetics web site at http://www.turboneticsinc.com What you really need to do is talk with a true expert from Turbonetics or Turbocharger Engineering Corp. These two companies are partners with Garrett meaning that they work with Garrett and have access to special information. I first bought a T3 with 60 degree trim and found it to be lacking. I then bought a T3-T4 hybrid from Turbocharger Engineering Corp (800-950-8872) and am extremely happy with the results. Ultimately, do research by talking with the experts. Most all of us here on SAABNET really can only offer opinions based on our own and others experiences which may or may not provided you with the information you truly need to make an informed decision.
