If you install with a mild increase in boost, you will not be hitting the fuel cuts, so that might work. But lots of folks say they just want a little and then they become boost junkies!
So no need for an anticipator. But I expect that you might find that at high RPMs where the flows are very high, that the boost could be less than stock as a result of pressure drops downstream of the MBC control point, which is at the turbo compressor hose barb.
But you can get pressure regulators for under $20, some under $10. So its really not a cost issue.
So later, you could add a APR and migrate the MBC's inlet to the TB for steady boost at high RPMs. For many folks, mods are evolutionary.
If the wild boost in 1st gear is too much for you, you can convert to a SMBC.
