Doesn't the Rescue Kit concentrate on steering bushes and body/chassis stiffening, rather than the suspension as such? I certainly found that fitting poly (Abbott, also) to the "butterfly bushes" on my 9000 improved steering and torque steer, without making the ride any harder at all. But I'd expect poly bushes on the anti-roll bars to affect ride on anything but an ultra-smooth road because the wheels are linked together more stiffly across the car. As you say, the same goes in spades for the SAS rear bar!
I have 19" bars with Abbott springs and Konis (plus poly bushes) and would not personally go to stiffer bars – my ride is probably too hard already. But what would you say to the idea of softer springs and stiffer anti-roll bars?
