The '91-'92 and I believe '93 9000 2.3 heads (turbo or non-turbo) will work on a Classic 900. Your compression will drop from 9 to 1 to 8 3/4 to 1 which is a good thing. If your C-900T is an '85-early '86 your compression would come out closer to 8 to 1. The '94 up heads have a shorter timing chain area so they won't fit, they are referred to as the short engine. Most all of us here use a '91-'93 900 2.1 non-turbo head which is the same cylinder head as the '91-'92 9000 but it's a good idea to go with the 2.1 intake manifold which matches the larger intake ports. This intake uses a better injector angle so you also need the fuel rail, fuel pressure regulator and bracket. The big reason for doing all this is that the late '86-'93 2.0 heads have a messed up intake port design, one of each pair has a lower roof and worse yet the floor is altered in such a way that there is no short turn radius to the valve seat which is one of the most critical areas in port design. You do not need to change your fuel management computer. Hope this helps, Dave
