First it's carbon hoods, now it's custom made wheels. Personally, as a Saab nut, I love the Super Aero and think it's the shiznit for Saabs. But a) it weighs a lot and b) it's only available in 16x6.5. So we turn to the aftermarket, but then there are issues with offset, finding the right bolt pattern and of course, almost no one makes triple spoke wheels.

The same friend who builds kit cars asked me to ask around: would there be interest in custom made wheels? These would be 17x7 likely, maybe other sizes available. Two or three piece - billet centre, 6061 barrel. Any bolt pattern. Most importantly, they would look like a Super Aero, or at least very close to it. Price of course is high, but the quality would be top notch. US$2000 for a set of four.

This is about all I can provide for info at the moment. I'd be involved in the design, and for sure it would be a triple spoke, but perhaps with slightly thinner spokes to help show off any big brakes that would lurk behind. The lip may also have to be pushed out a bit for the same reason.

If there is enough interest to do 10 sets, then we'd be in business. Interest? Email me directly.
