I don't know, really. That's one of the problems with doing a full gear set for one. Otherwise, I'd be all for it. Yeah, I've worked with 6/4 before, and that's probably what I'd be using for everything. It completely trashes tooling, though. I think all in all, it would be a very worthwhile and fun (if not time intensive) project. I'll have to look into the possibility of casting Ti. I wish I had the luxury of being able to use a computerized CNC machine. Oh well. Handmade stuff is cooler anyway, right?
