If you have a T5, you can install a MBC and add an APR to get a MBC+anticipator. That stops pressure overshoots and fuel cuts. And this gives you control and the WGA adjustement can be left stock. This will greatly reduce boost delay. You can get the same pressures as with a MAP sensor signal modifier device.
Or install a SMBC to reduce boost delay and increase the base boost a bit. This works well with a T5 or T7 and will probably work well on any OEM turbo application.
Your WGA adjustment will increase base boost and reduce boost delay somewhat. This is not an easy adjustement to make. A MBC or SMBC is so much easier to adjust. And the MBC or SMBC can be removed and you can revert to stock in a few minutes. Good to be able to do if you are going to sell or trade-in.
