have you done any schools in the past? If you have not, I will stick with the tires that are on the car, it's the best way to learn the track & how to drive fast safely. After some schools/experience track tires are definantly worth it.
I took my stock viggen to the track a few weekends ago & it was a v-fun experience. Unfortunantly my wheels/track tires do not fit from my SPG but I learned a TON about the car & the track.
this is what I would do prior to the school
bleed the brakes
change pads or bring a extra set
make sure rotors are not worn out
if you can, get some race 4pt belts, my viggen seats sucked at the track
at the school I would
rotate tires at least once during the school
check tire presure & torque lugs prior to every session
after the school I would
change the motor oil
change the trans oil
possibly bleed brakes again
if you have done schools before what was your track car :o)
