increasing compression ratio on a turbo engin

Hi guys, heaving already changed my '83 900 GLE from an 8 valve n/a to 16 valve turbo and replaced the auto tranny with a manual, I want more :^)
I have the engine on the floor currently to fix an oil leak between the tranny and engin, and started considering some modifications. I was thinking about installing the 8 valve n/a pistons into the turbo engin to raise the c/r to 10.1:1. (wow, I can already hear you all scream KNOCK!;) This would require increased fuel flow, and here is my first question:
How much more fuel is needed? Would a higher ratio fpr do the trick, or is something more required?
I have already installed a 9k fmic, and will soon be adding a 3" turbo back exhaust system (without a cat). High quality gas is avalible at the pump (Shell V-power 99 octan RON) here in Iceland, and the temperature rearly reaches 20°C (ca. 70F) This should all help reduce knocking, and the APC will help protect the engin during initial tuning.
If I go through with this, should I use the original ´86 turbo cam's or should I try to seek some other kind?
Any information and insight is greatly appreciated. I appologize for any spelling or grammar mistakes I may have made.
Best regards, and happy SAABing. TJ
