Getting beaten off the start

Thanks to those who replied to my post. For the user who asked if I was dragging my car, the answer is no. This may be my first Saab, but I have loved them since 87 so I know how their turbo's perform.
To answer Damien's inquires:
2000 Aero
230hp, 243lbs torque
Kumho Low Profile tires
automatic transmission
I do not brake rev, no tires spin. Their is the normal tire pressure, stock aero suspension with traction control...no mods as of yet.
What happens is that I am not intending to drag race my car. I live in NC so any kid who thinks his Rice Burner is fast will race any car at a red light so naturally I want to show him what my stock Aero can do. Unfortunately, the saab having turbo lag does not quite pack the off the start punch that I was hoping for and yes I may be able to beat a rice burner at 50mph, it is off the start that is really important.
I am getting my adaptability codes cleared sometime this week at the Saab dealership I work at to see if that will help my car learn how I drive and give it a little extra power in order to adapt, but any suggestions you can make would be helpful.
Exhaust? Chip? ECU? Air Filter? Delivery pipe (abbott racing)?
