No one's every compared the bolt pattern to see if the C900 tranny would bolt up to it. Even then you have to worry about the crank hitting the tranny case.
This could probably be solved by adding a spacer between the tranny and engine to mate them together. Then you have to make a longer oil tube or put more oil in the sump to pick it up.

Then you have to worry about the height of the engine. The C900 block is at a 45 degree angle, and I think the 9-3 is straight up and down.
Some measurements would have to be taken there.

Anything can be done if you have the money and the time!
