interpretation of results that is. Good idea to flush out intake restrictions .... I eliminated over 1 psi in my rwd track car.
But removing screens got em 4.8" H20 ... that's .17 psi. if running 14.7 + 15 psi boost, that's a .5% change in pressure ratio ... how hard turbo works to make same controlled 15 psi boost. Crediting a 28% improvement in acceleration to this drop change is very poor tech writing by a usually good reference.
What is likely is the flow around the AMM was altered, fooling it into a leaner or richer mixture for more power. Could also be a misread or an unrelated factor. It is NOT the result of going from 29" to 24" suction at compressor inlet at 7K rpm.
