Replacing all of the bushing with poly make the car very responsive to steeing input. The car becomes very predictable.
Specificly rear bushing. The sway bar bushings do a lot to take the push out of the front. Also since the sway bar mount to the rear axle trailing arm through bolts, replacing the lower control arm front and rear bushings with poly stiffens the sway bar and keeps the axle in place. The upper trailing links improve braking action since they keep the rear axle from rotating on braking. The pan hard bar bushing make the car more responsive to steering input.
We used all of them on our circle track car and they helped greatly. They are also in stalled on our street cars.
Most people overlook the importance of the rear axle on front wheel drive but it plays a bigger part in handling than most people give it credit for.
On our circle track car, whick has road raced and autocrossed this past year, more time is spend adjusting the rear suspension than the front.
