Note how the temperature drops after the turbine. The cast pipe after the turbo appears to be cooler than the pipe after it. But that is misleading. The heavy cast section is probably still getting hotter because of its mass. The thin pipe downstream will have gas that is a bit cooler. But because it is thin it has increase in temperature faster than the heavy cast section.
Note how hot the exhaust manifold is. This particular manifold has a poor design feature. Note the one long continous section that is so hot. The thermal expansion is high and the manifold is vey rigid. This type of thing can lead to warping of the manifold and can also over stress the studs that mount it. The manifold has to have some oversized holes to allow the manifold to move, or something will break. The studs should not be too tight either.
Note the O2 sensor.
Note how the distributor is protected by a heat shield.
