As Kevin says I am not an engineer.
The cause of the stumbe with out resistance is you have too much fuel. The 30# injectors with resistors is a simple approach to get past the overboost. 24# injectors is all that would be needed if it was not for the overboost cut out in the 2.4. Secondary injectors can handle the rest.
My car pulls a solid 12.5 from 2700rpm 21psi to redline 6000rpm. Using 30# injector 2.5 bar FPR, Split Second ARCII, Exzess additional injector controler driving four 24# injectors.
To make the 30# injectors work smoothly the Split Second ARCI or the ARCII
would work. There are several other signal conditioners the can be used in place of the Split Second products, I have not first hand experiance with the others.
You are on the correct track and you have the sensitivity to feel what is taking place.
The DAK1 data logger has helped me so much in seeing what is realy happening.
