I am a master level auto tech specializing in diagnosing FI systems Im called a diagnostician
I have the equip for looking at inputs & outputs & have a good understanding of fueling & timing needs & optimization of these aspects for performance improvment
the programming of proms is a bit foreign but I have been learning about it since meeting frank stromqvst at SOC he was verry encouraging & seemed to think I was capable of this sort of thing
I have learned to identify maps by looking at bin files soon Ill start toying with maps & seeing what I can do
I need to get a wideband O2 setup to be able to realy make good use of this knowledge
once I get a handle on how much changing values in certain areas efect AF ratios on my car Ill be able to kick out a couple of programs which Ill be able to burn copys of & sell
one problem is Im running a volvo 2.2 LH ECU AMM INJS & resister pack so Ill practice on mine but dont have like 2.4 & 2.42 LH cars to work with here so mabey Ill get vonunteers? :-)
or mabey knowing how values efect AF ratios I can make more of a blanket chip made to work with bigger injs which will lower injector on time over all & delay the steeper part of the fuel ramp & giving more fuel later in the RPM
I have an awesome prom burner & allot of bin files to play with :-)

Im working on it pretty hard & driving my wife crazy :-)
Ill definatly post about it here occaisionaly
