Data logging with OBD-II Reader

For a week I've been playing around with very simple data-acquisition system - a plug'n'play a universal ($700) OBD-II scanner with record function. This allows some visibility into what is going on inside the T5 system in the SPG. Since I have a ng900 with T5 also, I logged that too. I used six parameters so far: TPS, RPM, MAP, IGN, IAT, SPEED. Plus I try to note the temperature outside, what gear, etc. I hope this will give me some tuning advantage, outside of a full dyno session.
The complete list of options:
TPS (throttle position sensor, 0-5V sensor output is scaled to 0-100%)
RPM (revs per minute)
MAP (manifold absolute pressure, inchesHg or mmHg)
COOLANT (from coolant temp sensor in intake manifold, *F)
IGNITION (degrees BTDC)
IAT(intake air temperature from sensor in IC pipe, *F)
SPEED (road speed, MPH)
LT FUEL (long-term fuel trim, in %)
ST FUEL (short-term fuel trim, in %)
O2 11 (front oxygen sensor, in Volts)
O2 12 (rear oxygen sensor, in Volts)
The real SAAB tool would have dozens of more options, like duty cycle and operation of the Idle Control Solenoid, Boost Pressure Valve, etc. But so far that tool costs several thousand dollars and nobody will loan me one (except with tech supervision and $80/hr fees).
