Just returned from a long road trip to Colorado for the holidays. While I was there I was able to do some runs against a Porsche C4, the results were pretty good for the Aero. The Porsche is a late model Carrera 4 with the following mods.

Custom Borla duel exhaust, very nice sounding pipes
Porsche competition flywheel
Porsche competition clutch
Do not know the exact numbers on HP and Torque, the car started with 296 and 260 respectively.

There are some presuppositions.
0-60 the Porsche kicks my ass
above 150 the Porsche kicks my ass, but I wanted to see how my car would do in the mid-range against a pretty fast car.

We did 3 runs
40-105 starting in 2nd
40-105 starting in 3rd
60-120 starting in 3rd (we got carried away and went a little faster with this one)

The first run I got the jump and held on to the lead with about a car length between us though he was gaining rapidly on me when we shut it down.
The second run the C4 took the lead and held it, with about 11/2 lengths in front of me, again he was starting to walk away
The third run, which surprised me a bit, I walked away from him, I had over 2 lengths on him the entire time. I ran to just shy of red line in 3rd and 4th , but had to back off cause of snow tires.

If nothing else it was fun to go fast which is why I do what I do to my car.
