It depends on what you mean by "handling" - if you're taking it to the track, with no bumpy roads, it probably wouldn't mean alot to your "handling". If you're driving on Massachusetts'
roadways, then, IMHO, it would mean a h***-of-alot to your "handling". Have you checked the torque on the three bolts that attach it to the frame? If it were me, and I had a doubt about the strut bearings, I would just succumb and buy new bearings - I hate that sound! I would just clamp the springs, while they were compressed, lift the vehicle, un-do the three bolts and let the strut fall.......don't think they would take that long to do....this really should have been on the 9000 bb, but good luck!
