try to retard your timing a lil bit & see if it stabilizes a bit if so you can do a mod to your vac advance/retard diaphram which will help a bit
what plugs are you running should be BCP7EV
a 3barfpr & stock injectors will suport a boost spike of about 15-16LBS tapering back to 12ish
so dont get crazy with the boost till you feed that thing more fuel
if the needle rises normaly than pops back sharply its the knock sensor picking up pre ignition
if the needle sorta wavers gently it could still be pre ignition but could also be weak wastegate spring tension allowing the WG to blow open but it would have to be prety dam weak to happen still in the yellow
