'87 9000T, which I know, came stock with 205/55/15. The taller tires are an attempt to soften the rather hard ride. It worked for a bit, but as my 205/60/15's are Yokohama AVS-Intermediates, they have gone back to full hard after a little less than two seasons use. My 195/60/15's are Nokian NRW, with a much better ride, and less performance detriment than you might think on bare roads.
The Yokohamas are on Super Inca wheels and the Nokians are on my stock ugly wheels. I think I will change my summer tires back to my Panther EMR-119 wheels though, and put the snows on the Super Inca. No use having spare wheels sitting around that look better than the ones on my car, right? :)
