Don't know what car you have, but here goes. On my 9000 I fitted Abbott springs and Konis and the car is dead level, to within a few millimetres, but other people have posted (on the 9000 board) with other experiences. The spring spacers seem to be trouble-free from what I read so you always have that option (though they inevitably raise the car at the end you fit them).

Personal view: I find the Abbott springs rather too hard, but changing to Goodyear F1-D3 tyres has helped the ride (but affected the steering response). In another life I would probably change to Eibach springs, which are apparently still available for the 9000 from Nordic Uhr.

First step is probably to fit poly bushes to the anti-roll/sway bars. On the 9000, it may be best just to do that at the rear and renew the fronts with OEM rubber to avoid too much oversteer (personal preference). Also do the "butterfly bushes" for the rear of the lower control arms on the front suspension. If you go for stiffer springs/dampers, you could do the front a/r bushes in poly.

Some people swear by the thicker SAS bars but there is no doubt they will give you ride problems on anything but smooth pavement, since they transfer bumps from one side to the other. There is always a case for softer psrings and better damping, and anti-roll bars are effectively springs too!
