his behalve as he does not freqent this bb any more. I appologize if my post was confusing. Icesaab himself learned sweadish and now hangs out over at the Saab Turbo Club of Sweden's homepage (link below):)
But as I am quite familiar with his drag racing family wagon I'll try to answere your questions.
He is using wheele bars and I do believe they helped quite a bit with the start (I don't have the actual numbers so I can't tell how much the helped, but he's still using them so at least they work :D)
As for the Autronic, it along with a wide band O2 sensor made a world of difference. Trying to get those huge injectors (520cc) to work with the old LH was a major pain in the @$$. The SAAB was running WAY to rich at anything below 4000 rpm and 1 bar of boost. This was all fixed with the autronic and made it possible for him to go from mid 13s to low 12s.
