Port and Polish Question...

Ok, as some of you know I have to do my head gasket some time soon. I am wondering if it makes sense to do a port and polish or if that money would be better put into other mods. Has anyone had noticeable results with a port and polish job? Many on this board have said that it will do little good on a turbo car so instead of wasting my money I ask all of you, What is the best option? At the moment the car has 100K on it an I need it to go another 100K (I would really like it to, I have sooo much fun driving it still.) As of now I have:
MapTun ECU (Stage one)
Viggen Exhaust and Intercooler
K&N Intake
And lots of suspension work.
The car is very quick as it is but there is always room for more. (Plus, my buddys GTi is just a smige faster so I need just a bit to be very happy and piss him off once again, haha)
The way I am looking at it I would be able to get a stage (or two) up in my ECU at or below the price of the port work. What do you think I should do?
Thanks in advance,
Chris.
