Chaz,
Hope things are going well with the rebuilding of the TE05s. As far as LPTs go, it is pretty basic. (I have this setup on my 91 900S with the 2.1L) It involves all the main turbo components. I have posted a list of all required parts in the past, fyi. The turbo will need to be limited to 8psi max, and 92 or 93 run all the time. There is no APC system to adjust the boost level or to the fuel grade. NA engines run a 10:1 CR, and turbos are 8:1, so natually the NA cannot run as much boost. However, the boost that they do run, is much more "powerful". I am running 7.5psi or so on my LPT, and it will beat my 91 SPG all day long. Reason? With every throttle input, there is boost, full boost. I can get 7.5psi all day long at 2200rpm if desired with my TE05. While cruising, if I give the throttle some input, the boost is RIGHT there, no need for APC to get into the boost. The boost is simply limited by the length of the wastegate arm, such as if you were setting base boost on a APC equipped car.
Let me know if you have any other questions...
