I pulled the plug from a 2.2 LH ecu & cut the ECU plug & 10 inches of harness from a 2.4 parts car I have here & made an adapter to do testing on 2.4 LH eprom reprogramming & fired up the 86 notchback on a 2.4 LH ECU I still had the 2.2 AMM in there so it wasent rite but it did work so now Ill have a test bed for 2.4 well Ill post pics soon tomarow Ill buy a used 2.4 turbo AMM I think Ive found the rev limit in 2.4 Ill check in the next few days & post about that
I was let down by a software engineer on some software I was trying to have made to make 2.2 LH easier to deal with & thats why I havent been posting or working on this for a bout a month but Im all over it now :-)
for now I took another elbow & tapped the upper o2 boss for the WBo2 & will start logging data over the weekend on 2.2 & see where I can get with it & as soon as my 2.4 AMM gets here Ill start on that too
Im not sure how Im gona handle that one I may use the SPG for all testing & mke an adapter from the volvo pinn setup on the AMM plug to the saab type or mabey the 2.4 AMM uses the same pinn configuration as the volvo AMM on my car which would be nice it would just be a matter of swapping injectors & bypassing the balast resisters for the low impedance injectors I run
I also stumbled onto something which might get rid of the fuel cut off prooblem in 2.4 LH but this & the rev limit are both un substanciated at this point just educated guesses
well enough of my rambling
have a great weekend
JAK
