Vince that is what I was thinking as well.
I would prefer this: OEM style sliders/pointers at the rear of the hood,
but only two post/latches at the front corners. Then you could walk to the front of the car, undo the latches and lift & pull the whole hood off.
Badge spot - I'll take mine smooth with no badge.
Vent holes - well you have to have the right side one for cabin air. The left side vent would be very desirable for engine compartment venting and looks cool too.
Hinge mechanism - personally I'd dump the hinge for weight and use hood pins. Remember, this hood will be (should be) easily lifted by one person. Also you can remove the inside release handle & braket, hood release cable, and latch mechanism.
Fit and finish - only the best. Nobody wants to bolt on a B-grade hood with defects. (Although I would do it to save some money! heh)
