Sounds as if the 'Pots' in the apc needs to be adjusted. It sounds as if you have the infamous overshoot prob. Boost takes off and spikes, apc senses knock, backs if off. Looking into the apc, you will want to lower the pot on the right . This will take some time to get right. They both work in conjunction with one another, but the one on the right controls overshoot. You will need a tiny screw driver to do this. Turn it counter clock wise just a little and take for a ride. Adjust until it is right. In other words, nail it in third gear, the car will spike to 16 or 17 and stay there until you shift, let off the gas, or wastegate has had enough and starts to bleed. Leave base as is. I have mine set at 9, max boost is 18-19
