2.3 Block will not fit your classic 900. In theory, it is possible to use the 2.3 crank in a c900 slant engine with custom pistons and material ground out the gearbox casing to clear the longer stroke, but these would have a very narrow compression height and thus not much space between ring lands. The relationship between the engine stroke and connecting rod length would not be very favourable either. You'd be left with an engine capable of monster torque (of no use given the c900 gearbox), but very difficult to balance properly and probably not capable of revving too high.
For c900, it's better to go the other direction -> more revs, not that much low/midrange torque (for a turbo engine, that is).

2.1 block would be feasible with custom pistons for proper turbo c/r. The 93 mm bore might be pushing it for very high powered/revving applications, though.

IMO the ultimate c900 solution is to bore out the 2.0 block to no more than 92 mm (giving 2,074 cc capacity), and use forged Cosworth pistons. Frank from Sweedpseed built such a block for me - he says mine (with shot peened stock rods and crank and oil cooling jets) is good up to 400 hp, 550-600 hp would require just a billet crank and custom forged rods and at over 600 hp it's recommended to replace the headbolts with long ones that go through the entire block (a la Eklunds rally racing car)....
