Hello, SPG!,
Boring a full 1mm oversize would not show a dramatic improvement to engine enhancement and could be a fairly costly endeavor(piston, piston ring, machine charges, etc.). If you find that your engine is in need of machining/boring, it would only make sense to go to the largest oversize but the B202 block castings have very high nickle content and are known for high wear capabilities (normally not in need of bore oversize during engine rebuild).
You might find some provision through employment of the 2.1 liter cylinder head but combining with the 2.1 l intake manifold will reduce turbocharger spool and off boost engine performance.
You might consider replacing the known wear components (which would be more difficult to replace/access with the engine installed)such as front and rear main seals, harm. bal.,belts, coolant hoses, alt. bushing, trans. seals, if needed.
The most provision per $ should be related to an increase in turbocharger boost pressure and you can normally rely on a 5 BHP gain per psi (pressure) increment. An APC update combined with fuel enhancement will normally bring about the most improvement to engine enhancement per $.
Good luck with your project and best regards!,
GSK @ SWEDISH DYNAMICS, INC.
