The tuning kit gives you some options for spring tension. When I bought mine, I had Forge send me my valve with the blue spring, which is a little stiffer than the green qhich I think they typically ship it with. The picton is under load when on boost so with pressure, there can be leaks. The stiffer spring tension will give you some added support to the piston if you feel it is fluttering or leaking under load. The softer the spring, the safer it is to the turbo but the stiffer the spring the better it is at keeping things from leaking air on boost. So it is a toss up. You'll have to play with it some. If you haven't modified the car to incrase boost, I'd say you're pretty safe with the softer spring. You might want to consider reorienting the valve so that the bottom port sees the pressure from the IC pipe instead of the side port and keep the softer spring in there unless you are losing boost pressure.
Side note: I have actually heard this valve flutter a bit even with the blue spring when on boost at higher rmps. When doing about 75-80, if I stomped on it and wne tfull boost, I could actually hear it flutter. When I reoriented the valve putting the bottom port to the IC pipe, the fluttering went away.
