The Boost gauge is variable for each car being that it is an electronic signal as opposed to true boost pressure. I have found that my gauge will go 1/2 way through, and at times, even farther before I hit the cut. You'll just have to adjust up until you hit and and then back off.
I had a look under the 9K aeros hood a few weeks ago looking for a good spot to move the boost pressure tap to the TB on that car. I didn't spend too much time so I didn't find a good location, but if you can find a good place downstream of the IC to tap for your MBC pressure, you will be able to sustain higher boost settings for longer periods of time, then we could figure out how to add the Anticipator setup to a 9K. That would be good.
Granted the 9K has a huge IC so maybe not as much of an issue, but I'd bet there is still a lot of benefit to moving it and adding the +A.
