Thanks for the compliments! It is very exciting to finally get into authentic race-car parts.
MMMmmm good. I'll have pictures of the installation later this weekend.
Anyhow -
1 - Panhard bar will be exactly the same construction. For lowered cars like mine this allows
for precise centering of the rear axle, since lowering the car causes the axle to shift over & rub
the wheel into the body.
2 - The PG seems to work well, but because it is so "seamless" and "unobtrusive" I don't notice
it most of the time. I can say that I don't get any 1-wheel burnouts anymore, which is nice. On a
side not, I’ve been running Redline MTL in the trans, but I just got some Redline Lighweight
Shockproof 75w140 (~30w motor oil) to try out.
3 - The bumper is made from the aluminum reinforcing bar that is in all c900 Saab bumpers.
I took it out, cut the big Saab-shaped holes in it, and black anodized it. Then I attached the
trim pieces (also from the stock bumper) and painted those black. It bolts up at the stock location,
since it is a 'stock' bumper!
