I wouldn't recommend doing all of this. You would definitely have to swap harnesses, going from a distributor based sytem to Trionic 5, a lot of work in itself. Also, as Saabboost mentioned, you will need a 94 or newer short engine to make the fit. Clutch would not be the same going from a NG900 to a pre-94 9000. If you have a 2.3 turbo 9000 as a donor car, why not do your tuning with that car? It has the immediate ability to handle more power(chassis before modifications anyway)and there are quite a few chips to choose from. I don't know, with the amount of work you are looking at, and assuming you assign your personal labor a dollar value, it would definitely be cheaper to buy a turbo car. Even if you are looking for the 2.3 stroke/torque advantage, it still would be cheaper and quicker to buy a turbo car, and change the bottom end over to 2.3 spec. Just my humble opinion. What ever you do, post the results and let us know.
