Fueling issues from last Friday. Actually from before that. Car would not start -- would turn over, had plenty of spark, no fuel. Had the car flatbed towed to the shop twice, and each time when it got there it started right up.
First time, I just took the car back.
Second time, I had them install a new fuel pump.
Not even a week later, it wouldn't start once again. This time, I swapped the system and fuel pump relays. Still nothing.
Then I jumpered power to the fuel pump fuse location. Pump was good. Just no signal from the ECU.
The ECU...
It was a Talliafero unit I inherited from BobJ when I bought it from him. Good intentions, but as with un-modified ECUs as well, they go bad.
So now I'm running a stock LH 2.4 from a '91 in my '93. Haven't stomped on it since the new ECU (been raining, haven't even driven it since the fix) so we'll see how the "de-tuning" has affected it. Oh well, at least it's running again.
