that is really a drag. the worst part about that kind of crap is the amount of time it eats up. unfortunately you cannot trust them at all now. i'd say geta cheap digicam and take a lot of pictures. do the rest of the job yourself and get a lawyer on em. if it were a couple of hundred it would hardly be worth your time...but for what they did you are out more like 1k minimum. more like the cost of the whole job since valve interference is so hard on everthing. plus how much of the bottom end can you trust now. I recall one time i had one together only to not be sure if i torqued the rods....hadd to split eng and trans to check..and in fact that was the case!!! everyone makes mistakes but that does not mean you have to pay for them.

so sorry to hear it....these engines are so simple to work on and PAECO has had a good rep in the past so i thought. I do all my own work just becasue of the fact that if it is going to fail i want to know who to go after but it is unfortunate that people get ripped off by shoddy work. just hang in there and stay at it until you get it set straight. this boatload of crap won't last forever....it just seems like it.
